Forescout Technologies, Inc., a global cybersecurity leader, is seeking a strategic and business-focused Presales System Engineer for its West Region. The role involves participating in customer meetings to understand business needs and identify opportunities to enhance Forescout solutions. Responsibilities include traveling locally within Northern California and the Pacific Northwest, representing Forescout at conferences, engaging with partners, and visiting customers. The engineer will maintain expertise in the Forescout platform, deliver technical presentations and solution demos, and develop Proof-of-Concept (POC) test configurations. This includes implementing POCs within customer environments, managing time, responding to adjustments, and resolving issues. The role also involves cross-functional work with product and customer success teams, and requires a motivated individual eager to work with networking technologies, enjoy hands-on testing, and customer interaction. Collaboration with distributed teams and a focus on customer engagement are key.
Must have:

What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for a strategic and business-focused Presales System Engineer to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. As the Presales System Engineer, you will:
- Participate in customer meetings and discussions to understand their business needs and identify opportunities to enhance Forescout solutions.
- Travel locally within the Northern California and Pacific Northwest territory to represent Forescout at conferences, engage with partners, and visit customers on-site
- Maintain expertise in all areas of the Forescout platform through technical training
- Clearly articulate the benefits of the Forescout Platform and its many use cases and provide technical presentations and solution demos to prospective customers
- Develop Proof-of-Concept (POC) test configurations based upon requirements agreed upon with the prospect and prove out the solution within the customer environment.
- Implement the designed POC with the customer by managing time, responding to configuration adjustments, and resolving any issues or questions that may arise during the testing period.
- Work cross functionally with product and customer success organizations to ensure your customers’ voice is heard
- Be motivated and eager to work with networking technologies. Enjoy hands-on testing and customer interaction
- Work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
- Have fun working with some of Forescout’s largest customers

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience with 8+ years of experience
