The Process Technician Supervisor I will support all aspects of assembly production by integrating CAD, Bills of Material, part data, assembly and mechanical drawings into pick & place equipment programs and detailed assembly instructions for both PCB and Box-Build efforts. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining pick & placement machine programs using Fuji software, creating step-by-step assembly instructions using Aegis software, incorporating Engineering changes (redlines) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into existing programs and processes, assisting in developing and maintaining machine part data libraries and databases, and reviewing Bills of Material, mechanical and assembly drawings. This role requires prompt and regular attendance to ensure quality workflow and involves other duties as requested to ensure quality, accuracy and product verification.
Must have:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in assembly and/or electronics testing, preferably IPC Class 2 or 3.
  • Interpreting multi-level Bills of Material, CAD files, assembly and mechanical drawings.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift 20 pounds.
Good to have:
  • 1 - 2 years’ operational experience with Fuji placement equipment.
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience with Aegis FactoryLogix software.
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in board-level or box-build assembly of electronic systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop/maintain/debug pick & placement machine programs using Fuji software.
  • Develop and maintain step-by-step assembly instructions using Aegis software.
  • Incorporate Engineering changes (redlines) into existing programs and processes.
  • Incorporate Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs) into existing programs and processes.
  • Help develop and maintain machine part data libraries and databases.
  • Comprehend and extensive review of Bills of Material.
  • Comprehend and extensive review of mechanical and assembly drawings.
  • Prompt and regular attendance is required to ensure a quality workflow.
  • Other duties, as requested, to ensure quality, accuracy and product verification.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
