What You Will Do

• Deliver critical security features to some of the largest, most complex customer environments in the world
• Design, develop, and unit test Forescout eyeSight product features to create new functionality, improve product capability, and enhance customer experience
• Work with senior technical leaders and product management team to define the authentication feature roadmap
• Work with QA, technical publication, support, and other teams to ensure high quality end-to-end product delivery
• Mentor junior members of the development team
• Rapidly learn, evaluate, and explain emerging security technologies

What You Bring To Forescout

• 3+ years of industry experience in developing software
• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field with a high GPA
• A true startup spirit with strong "can-do" attitude willing to wear multiple hats when needed
• Experience designing and implementing complex software solutions to an existing system
• Hands-on programming experience with Java and Python; open to other languages including C/C++, Perl, and JavaScript, but Java preferred
• Experience developing in a Linux environment
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP, SSL, SSH and other networking protocols required with router experience a big plus
• Working knowledge of WinRM, WMI, RRP, and SMB protocols is a plus
• Virtualization development experience with a hypervisor including VMWare, KVM, HyperV, and VirtualBox preferred
• Working knowledge of multiple security product categories is highly desirable, such as SIEM, UEBA, CASB, VA, NGFW, ATD, PAM, and EMM
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communications skills
