The Product Analyst will be responsible for implementing and configuring the Kinaxis Maestro platform to support clients' supply chain planning and execution needs. This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, conducting validation and user training, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. The candidate will translate business requirements, configure Kinaxis Maestro software, create and maintain solution documentation, lead Quality Control/Quality Assurance validation, support data management and integration, provide technical support to end users, and conduct solution training. The candidate should be a self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced work environment.
Must have:
  • Translate business requirements into software specifications.
  • Configure and implement software based on customer requirements.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation.
  • Lead Quality Control/Quality Assurance validation and testing.
  • Support data management and data integration activities.
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve issues.
  • Conduct solution training to end users.

Position Overview:

The Product Analyst will play a key role in implementing and configuring the Kinaxis Maestro platform to support clients’ supply chain planning and execution needs. This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, conducting validation and user training, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in supply chain processes, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

 

What you’ll do as the Product Analyst:

Employees employed in the role of Product Analyst shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

  • Translate business requirements into Kinaxis Maestro software specifications, following supply chain industry trends and best practices.
  • Configure and implement Kinaxis Maestro software based on customer business requirements, ensuring solution configurations are of high quality, aligned with user stories, and completed in accordance with sprint timelines.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation in accordance with user story solutions.
  • Lead Quality Control/Quality Assurance validation and testing of sprint story solutions, including supporting UAT and capturing user feedback. Provide recommendations to improve future processes and implementations.
  • Support data management and data integration activities, such as source system data validation, data clean-up, and any needed data transformations within Maestro.
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve complex issues; act as an escalation point for end users.
  • Conduct solution training to end users.

 

What you will bring to the team:

The following are the experience and key skills required for the position:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.

Primary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passion for working in customer-facing roles and able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in software implementations or deployments in the supply chain planning or supply chain execution space, or business experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.
  • Self-starter who shows initiative in their work and learning and can excel in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, able to synthesize a high volume of complex information to determine the best course of action.
  • Works well in a team environment and can work effectively with people at all levels in an organization. Previous exposure to managing external stakeholders such as customers and executive sponsors.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple team members.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Role-Specific Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro (formerly RapidResponse), SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder applications to support supply chain activities.
  • Some facilitation experience in needs requirements and analysis sessions with customers and system end users.
  • Proven experience in applying supply chain best practices and concepts as it relates to forecasting, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.
  • Some proficiency in SQL, R, and/or JavaScript.
