Role- SAP Senior Project Manager
SAP Skills
  • 15+ years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
  • At least four full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
  • Understands SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Understand integration between modules.
  • Good command on Business English and Arabic
  • GCC working experience is mandatory.
  • Ability to work in both Pre-Sales as well as implementation teams.
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements into SAP functionality, identify fit/gap as well as technical solutions for gaps.
  • Lead detailed module specific explore sessions.
  • Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
  • Understands complete Module/Application specific SAP functionality as well as integration points with other modules.
  • Understands how to utilize SAP’s Functionality/Integration to meet business requirements.
  • Effectively plans configuration and master data development.
  • Ability to estimate resources needed to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensures SAP is meeting project objectives/vision.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in various projects and change request related to technology and service transitions. Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, implementing mitigations to risks, and driving actions to close issues.
  • Provide project leadership to include ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, and actively participate and execute high value business solutions. Role includes planning and deployment, budget management, risk management, systems integration, and software development. 
  • Create and negotiate statements of work, planning and milestone creation, financial reporting. Fluent in Agile and Scrum methodologies. 
  • Experience working with offshore development rationalizing development work and leading execution.
  • Assist in managing the approach, tools and processes that will be used to support business transition events.   
  • Lead and manage SAP implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in SAP project management.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
