Job Description
This Search Technical Solutions Consultant role at Google requires troubleshooting and resolving issues for Google's advertisers, Sales teams, agencies, and partners. Responsibilities include leveraging AI-powered Google Ads products, troubleshooting technical product issues, developing diagnostic tools and automation, and improving product features by providing feedback to internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in system design, code reading (Java, C++, Python), and technical project/solution management. Experience with Data/SQL, web technologies, and customer-facing technical communication is crucial. Preferred qualifications include experience in product support, quality engineering, site reliability engineering, Google Ads, and business analysis.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/CS or equivalent
- 3+ years system design or code reading experience
- 3+ years in technical project management/consulting
- Data/SQL and web technologies experience
- Technical troubleshooting and customer service
Good to have:
- Experience in technical product/cloud support
- Google Ads or online advertising experience

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
- Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in technical product/cloud support/quality engineering/site reliability engineering.
- Experience using Google Ads or other online advertising solutions and the media/technology landscape.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting or customer support in a technical organization with customer-facing experience translating technical concepts and solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Experience in business analysis to conduct analytics, develop dashboards, and make recommendations.
- Experience problem-solving to develop strategic perspectives on customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities
- Prioritize and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the customer journey, troubleshooting and resolving issues with Google's advertisers and Sales teams, agencies and partners.
- Learn our AI powered Google Ads products.
- Troubleshoot technical product issues. Apply product expertise solving technical customer issues and escalations and carrying out projects.
- Develop tools and automation for diagnostics/ data fixes and debugging, either separately or in partnership with Product Engineering teams.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering and Business Solutions teams.
