Job Description

The Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market Sales role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on building and maintaining relationships with C-level clients. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive understandings of client business challenges and marketing goals, structuring joint strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and achieving growth goals through effective presentation of Google advertising products. The role requires a deep understanding of Google's advertising products, data-driven analysis skills, and the ability to craft compelling presentations. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or advertising sales and experience influencing C-level stakeholders. They will work with mid-market businesses to help them grow using Google's advertising solutions, acting as a trusted advisor and driving customer success.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital marketing or digital media/advertising sales.
  • Experience influencing or selling to C-level stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context.
  • Experience selling against traditional and digital media advertising solutions.
  • Knowledge of traditional and contemporary or online marketing strategy and tactics (e.g., product knowledge across all digital advertising products areas).
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a customer engagement strategy.
  • Ability to leverage business acumen to strategically assess and help solve client needs.
  • Ability to achieve goals to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for and achieve growth goals through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing goals.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing goals.
