Senior Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Job Description
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for performing and setting up test automation frameworks across mobile, web, and desktop platforms. This includes building and managing test environments, creating bug reports, and designing test scenarios. You will develop and maintain quality automation code, participate in design discussions, and ensure extensive unit test coverage. The role requires proficiency in object-oriented coding (Java/Python), experience with CI/CD tools, version control, and strong technical knowledge of automated testing tools like JMeter and Selenium. You will also evaluate product scalability and support deployment teams.
Must have:
- Perform Test Automation and set up frameworks on multiple application platforms (Mobile, Web, Desktop).
- Build, deploy, and manage custom environments.
- Create and manage bug reports, communicate with the team.
- Build different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- Handle technical communications with Partnering teams to understand systems or APIs.
- Work with deployment teams to resolve system issues.
- Set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
- Participate in design and architectural discussions.
- Ensure extensive unit test code coverage.
- Develop and maintain quality automation code.
- Evaluate product scalability using JMeter/BlazeMeter.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools and version control systems like Git/Bitbucket.
- 3+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer (Mobile & Web).
- Experience in mobile (iOS and Android) and web test automation using Appium, XCUITest Tools.
- At least 1+ years of exposure in an agile development environment.
- Proficient in object-oriented coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and best practices in Java/Python.
- Deep technical knowledge of automated testing, testing patterns, test optimization, and application design.
- Technical knowledge of testing tools and frameworks including JMeter, Selenium, Maven, Jenkins.
- Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development, including Unit Testing and Behavior-driven testing.
- Experience working on Windows, Linux, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Automation Engineer (Mobile & Web)
- Experienced in mobile (iOS and Android) and web test automation using Appium, XCUITest Tools
- At least 1+ years of exposure in an agile development environment.
- Proficient in object-oriented coding, testing, deployment, documentation and best practices in software and test engineering in at least one of the languages: Java/Python.
- Deep technical knowledge of automated testing, testing patterns, test optimization, application design, build execution and maintenance.
- Technical knowledge of testing tools and frameworks used in test automation including but not limited to the following: JMeter, Selenium or other UI automation frameworks, Maven, Jenkins.
- Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development. Including but not limited to Unit Testing and Behavior driven testing.
- Experience working on Windows, Linux and cloud-based infrastructure
