The Senior Marketing Copywriter at Everyday Health Group will create engaging marketing materials for DailyOM, adhering to brand guidelines and editorial style. Responsibilities include writing microcopy for the website, promotional emails, paid advertising, and course-related copy. The ideal candidate will understand target audiences, placement, and design formats, and be able to write compelling copy that drives engagement and purchases. They will collaborate with editorial and marketing teams, continuously improve performance based on results and feedback, and stay updated on industry trends. Strong communication and time management skills are essential. Experience in wellness, holistic health, or personal growth is preferred.
Must have:
  • 5+ years marketing copywriting experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Google Docs, Asana
  • Experience in digital environment

The Senior Marketing Copywriter will be responsible for writing assigned marketing assets, while adhering to the DailyOM editorial style guide, brand tone, and marketing directions. The copywriter is equally creative and strategic in their approach for crafting engaging marketing copy, and is conscientious of the placement, audience, word length, visuals, and other pertinent information for an assignment. The copywriter is a strong communicator, who clearly articulates the main value propositions, pain points, and motivates the consumer to take action.
As a member of the DailyOM editorial team, reporting to the Executive Editor, the copywriter collaborates closely with editorial and marketing teams to provide written assets such as microcopy for DailyOM.com, promotional emails, paid advertising, course-related and brand copy, and so on. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding of the audience target, placement, and design format for each piece of marketing, with the ability to write engaging copy that is appealing to the consumer to drive engagement and course purchase
  • Continuously improve performance by reviewing results and feedback to incorporate learnings and best practices
  • Keep up with industry trends and test results to refine copy and experiment with new writing styles and formats
  • Ability to manage time, expectations, and deliver all tasks on time
  • Keen eye for detail, with a thorough understanding of brand style, formatting, grammar, and editorial style guide
  • Availability to collaborate and brainstorm with editorial and marketing teams, offering creative input and ideas to enhance marketing content 
Job Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of marketing copywriting experience, preferably in wellness, holistic health, personal growth, spirituality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Google Docs and Drive, Asana 
  • Experienced working in a digital environment for reviewing comments and changes, tracking and approving edits, and uploading and downloading documents
  • Comfortable working in a virtual team environment utilizing Slack, email, and video conferencing to review work and receive feedback
