Crytek is seeking a Senior Rendering Engineer to join their CRYENGINE Team and contribute to cutting-edge graphics technology. The role involves taking ownership of significant CRYENGINE rendering features, developing new rendering features for visually stunning experiences, and collaborating with the team to improve core rendering infrastructure. Responsibilities include diving into low-level optimizations on PC and consoles, maintaining and optimizing existing rendering code, and aiding in the profiling and optimization of game projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent C++ programming, software design, and GPU/CPU debugging skills, with a strong understanding of graphics pipelines and rendering techniques.
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience as Rendering/Graphics Engineer
- 2+ years in the gaming industry
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Excellent C++ programming and software design skills
- Excellent GPU and CPU debugging and optimization skills
- Strong understanding of graphics pipelines and rendering techniques
- Deep experience with DirectX 12, Vulkan, or AGC
- Strong passion for video game technology and graphics
- Experience with game engines, preferably CRYENGINE
- Team player and self-driven
- Willing to learn
- Solid English and good communication skills

Responsibilities
- You will have ownership of significant CRYENGINE rendering features and be responsible for their quality and performance.
- Develop new rendering features in collaboration with the internal game productions to achieve visually stunning experiences
- Work with the CRYENGINE Team to improve the core rendering infrastructure
- Dive into low level optimizations on PC and consoles
- Maintain and optimize existing rendering code
- Aid in profiling and optimization of game projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Rendering/Graphics Engineer, 2+ years in the gaming industry.
- At least a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent C++ programming and software design skills.
- Excellent GPU and CPU debugging and optimization skills.
- Strong understanding of graphics pipelines and rendering techniques.
- Deep experience with one or more of the following: DirectX 12, Vulkan, AGC
- Strong passion for video game technology and graphics in particular.
- Experience with game engines, preferably experience with CRYENGINE.
- Team player and self-driven.
- Willing to learn.
- Solid English skills, good communication skills with strong affinity for transparency.
