Job Description

The Senior Strategic Agency Manager at Google Customer Solutions drives customer success by partnering with agencies. This role focuses on influencing budget allocation towards digital capabilities, strengthening long-term partnerships, and driving product adoption. Responsibilities include delivering quarterly business growth objectives, owning a portfolio of agencies, collaborating with agency counterparts, and shaping the agency program through strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or related fields within relevant industries (Consumer Electronics, Auto, etc.), possessing strong executive influencing skills and a deep understanding of agency business models and digital advertising campaigns.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving agency success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, compelling narratives, storytelling, and engaged selling.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on both performance and brand marketing.
  • Knowledge of agency business models (digital and traditional), customer retention, growth and new business acquisition for agencies.
  • Knowledge of the advertising industry and automotive industry vertical.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in a sales context, and consistently achieve goals and business objectives to drive growth.

The Agency Partnership team is a high-performing team that drives customer success by partnering with a wide range of agency partners. Strategic Agency Managers are sellers who leverage their executive influencing skills to partner with traditional media agencies and increase the value that Google media brings to their agency business and their customers businesses in order to drive business growth and product adoption for Google. Agency Managers prioritize stakeholder relationships and collaborate with a portfolio of agencies to discover, develop, and execute business growth strategies.

In this role, you will focus on influencing budget allocation to increase digital capabilities and strengthening long-term commercial growth partnerships within our agencies, driving scalable business growth and product adoption across the portfolio of agency-managed accounts. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deliver quarterly business and product growth objectives. Grow agency business by driving scalable product adoption and growth across a portfolio of agency clients.
  • Own a portfolio of agencies by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Work across levels of agency partners to grow new and existing business consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding business experiences to Google's agency partners.
  • Collaborate with agency counterparts on cross-channel agencies, align on product priorities with Google Customer Solutions to provide a cohesive experience to our agencies and their clients.
  • Shape the agency program by being a thought partner for the Agency Lead on strategic initiatives and agency-level planning.
