The Performance Sales Specialist, based in Prague, Czechia, partners with internal and external stakeholders to craft impactful performance marketing strategies aligned with client objectives. This role demands leadership in complex pre-sale, sale, and post-sale processes, driving customer adoption of Google's Performance Marketing solutions. A deep understanding of Google's products and their business impact is essential. The ideal candidate is a thought leader in the performance marketing space, a skilled negotiator, and adept at managing technical implementations. Responsibilities include leading sales efforts across Google's product suite for major accounts, pitching and implementing performance advertising strategies, advising clients on media strategies, and collaborating with gTech Ads on campaign management and reporting. Success in this role requires a strong track record in large sales roles and a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years digital media/advertising sales experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Google Ads expertise
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills
Good to have:
  • 5+ years cross-functional experience
  • Joint business plan creation
  • Project management skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in digital media or advertising sales, performance agency business or marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally to influence priorities/strategy.
  • Understanding of Google Ads solutions across performance and measurement.
  • Ability to build and manage successful joint business plans with key cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent communication, project management, analytical, and organizational skills.

As the Performance Sales Specialist, you will partner with key internal and external stakeholders to define account level performance marketing strategies as a vehicle to achieve clients’ business objectives. You will lead and own complex pre-sale, sale, closing and execution engagements and take responsibility for advancing customers' feature and product adoption of Google’s Performance Marketing solutions and offerings.

You will demonstrate a deep understanding of our products, and the impact they will have on our customer's business. You are known as a thought leader in the performance ecosystem, a strong seller with the capability to both convince clients on the value of an evolving app strategy and project manage the necessary technical implementation of the power stack strategy. You are seen as a trusted advisor, and have both an internal and external track record of success in large sales roles.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sophisticated selling efforts across all Google's power stack solutions for the largest and highest opportunity accounts in Central Eastern European (CEE) Large Customer Sales (LCS).
  • Identify, pitch and manage implementation of performance advertising opportunities to clients.
  • Advise advertisers with media strategy recommendations and proactively and creatively identify and address client challenges.
  • Support assigned clients with global/regional management of ad campaign planning, execution, optimization and reporting in partnership with gTech Ads.
