Job Description

The Industry Lead, Ecommerce, Google Customer Solutions role is a fixed-term contract focusing on building and managing relationships with C-level clients and senior partners. Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive understanding of client business challenges and marketing objectives, structuring long-term joint strategies, leading cross-functional teams, achieving growth goals through Google advertising solutions, and providing data-driven analyses and recommendations. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship-building skills, expertise in digital advertising and ecommerce, and the ability to collaborate effectively across organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Advertising products and how they can be leveraged to meet diverse marketing objectives. The position is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Must have:
  • 8 years digital advertising/sales experience or 6 years with advanced degree
  • C-level relationship building
  • Joint business plan development
  • Cross-functional team leadership
  • Data-driven analysis & recommendations
Good to have:
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, managing multiple projects, business leads, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop joint business plans in complex, ambiguous environments, influence or collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.

This is a Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives. 
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers. 
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
