Job Description

As a Solutions Account Manager at Adobe, you'll manage a portfolio of enterprise-level Adobe Commerce customers. Responsibilities include customer success, retention, upselling, and exceeding quarterly/annual quotas. You will build relationships with executive sponsors, conduct regular business reviews, and ensure customer adoption of Adobe's Experience Cloud solutions. This role requires close collaboration with Account Executives, Marketing, Consulting, and Renewals teams to identify growth opportunities and develop new value propositions. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales experience in a high-tech SaaS environment, exceptional executive presence, and a deep understanding of Adobe Commerce or similar e-commerce solutions.

The Opportunity

As an Account Manager at Adobe, you will provide focus on Adobe’s Commerce solution by managing a portfolio of customers in the Enterprise space. In addition, you can expect to be working very closely with the respective Account Executives, Marketing, Consulting, and Renewals Specialists to develop new value propositions, build awareness, and reveal new growth opportunities. What you will do

  • Actively manage the success of a portfolio of assigned Adobe Commerce customers in the Enterprise space.
  • Be the default relationship owner between Adobe and experience business in the account. 
  • Be responsible for retention, development, and up-selling of focused accounts.
  • Close renewal and expansion business on a monthly basis, meeting or exceeding your quarterly and annual quota objectives.
  • Engage Customers in regular business reviews to ensure adoption, marketing maturity advancement, and during customer concerns to drive rapid resolution.
  • Establish and grow relationships with executive sponsors and decision makers.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of Adobe's Experience Cloud solutions. 

What you'll need to succeed

  • A minimum of 5 years’ prior customer success, account management, or sales experience from a high-tech (SaaS) company.
  • You have experience and abilities in customer success as well as retention/renewal, upsell, and general sales. 
  • You have solid executive presence. You are comfortable talking to a Fortune 100 CFO, CEO, CDO, CIO, or CTO. 
  • Deep understanding of Adobe Commerce or similar ecommerce solutions.
  • You have experience developing strategies on assigned accounts to fully leverage technology solutions.
  • You have led projects from conception to closure and have experience using internal resources to get things done.
  • You know how to build trusted relationships with executive sponsors and end users.
  • You are comfortable working in a matrixed organization and aligning with multiple additional stakeholders and influencers within Adobe. 
  • Experience running a full sales cycle.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $135,200 -- $234,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
