Job Description

The Strategy and Insights Manager at Google will act as a trusted advisor to the Large Customer Sales (LCS) team, supporting the achievement of quarterly and yearly goals. Responsibilities include providing problem-solving insights using data from Google, customers, and third parties; developing presentations for C-level clients; managing projects with multiple stakeholders; building relationships with clients' marketing and strategy functions; and collaborating with Google's marketing team on research and go-to-market narratives. The role requires analyzing industry trends, customer performance, and leveraging marketing channels to drive communication and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

  • Knowledge of digital advertising solutions
  • Strong analytical skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with primary research
  • SQL and Python proficiency

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience conducting primary research with third-party research partners.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising solutions (e.g., Search, Video, Social, E-commerce).
  • Ability to structure hypotheses and generate insights for business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with knowledge of SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Act as trusted advisor for the Large Customer Sales (LCS) team on business strategy, planning and customer portfolio management, supporting achievement of quarterly and yearly goals.
  • Provide problem-solving insights on industry trends and customer performance analyzing data from Google, customers, and third-parties.
  • Develop story lines and presentations and deliver them to C-level customers alongside sales teams to achieve an outcome.
  • Scope, manage, and deliver projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working on concurrent deadlines.
  • Build relationships with customers’ Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, and Insights functions to understand opportunities and challenges, and derive implications for Google, work with Google’s Marketing team on third-party researches and go-to-market narratives, leveraging marketing channels to drive communication and thought leadership.
