UK Field Marketing Manager

 

We are seeking a talented, experienced, and data-driven Field Marketer to join our marketing team in the UK. In this role, you’ll oversee the success of marketing initiatives for a particular region using a variety of marketing tactics including account-based programs, executive conferences, digital, and targeted field and channel events. This person will work closely with regional sales directors and corresponding sales AVP within the region and will ensure marketing aligns and contributes pipeline growth.

 

 

Location: London UK or remote

Regional Focus: UK & Ireland

 

Job Description:

  • Strategically develop, manage, and execute field and channel marketing programs and campaigns
  • Effectively provide strategic planning insight to Sales on the appropriate marketing activities for the various stages of the sales cycle: lead generation, opportunity creation and deal movement, and deal close
  • Working closely with the Channel and Alliance sales teams, create the partner marketing strategy within the region and plan to revenue and pipeline goals
  • Serve the primary marketing liaison and point of contact for region’s sales organisation working cross-functionally with departments on marketing campaigns including but not limited to: Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Public Relations, Business and Marketing Operations
  • Own the entire process of event program execution including venue selection, contract negotiation, speaker acquisition, management, tradeshow logistics and booth attendance, webinar setup, list pulls, email blasts, budget reconciliation, list uploads, e-marketing systems management, etc.
  • Monitor and measure, and report on the effectiveness of field & channel marketing programs to all key stakeholders while identifying areas for optimization and improvement
  • Communicate marketing efforts through sales team calls and Marketing QBRs
  • Leverage marketing automation tools for campaign awareness, demand generation, and communications
     

 

Success Factors:

  • 5-8 years of experience in regional field marketing role, ideally supporting a direct, enterprise sales force in the technology industry; experience in related positions and in other industries will also be considered
  • Knowledge and experience in building and executing marketing plans and communications programs
  • Experience in managing the logistics and details associated with the execution of marketing programs and events
  • Ability to be innovative with respect to program creation and problem resolution, and process-oriented with respect to marketing operations and execution workflows
  • Ability to interface with all levels in a Sales organisation including sales reps, tech consultants, regional managers, and senior leadership
  • Knowledge of marketing processes, marketing automation and e-marketing systems; experience with lead scoring and nurturing methodologies is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, dynamic organisation
