Job Description

As an Accelerated Partners Manager at Google, you'll empower app developers and content publishers to expand their businesses using Google's solutions. Focusing on small and medium-sized app portfolios in Southeast Asia, you'll cultivate relationships with partners, understand their challenges, and identify growth opportunities. You'll design and launch new app-centric strategies, provide feedback to influence product roadmaps, and implement scalable strategies across Google's app product suite (AdMob + Google Ad Manager). Collaboration across teams is crucial, as you'll provide support, test new products, and gather partner insights to shape product strategy. Thought leadership and cross-functional collaboration are key components of the role, impacting product development and market entry.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of business development/partnership experience
  • C-level executive communication
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese
  • Agreement/partnership management
Good to have:
  • Online advertising experience
  • Experience with Ad Manager/AdMob
  • Project management expertise
  • Programmatic advertising knowledge
  • Identifying business opportunities and structuring agreements

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese, fluently in order to communicate with different regional partners in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with online advertising, or Ad business generation solutions (e.g., Ad Manager, AdMob).
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience in project management focused on scaled engagement and efficiency improvement.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising space.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, discuss terms with strategic partners, and to deliver results.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, investigative and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As an Accelerated Partners Manager, you will enable App developers and content publishers to grow their businesses using Google’s business generation solutions. You will be responsible for supporting the small and medium apps portfolio and building the future of the vibrant apps ecosystem in South East Asia (SEA).

You will focus on new verticals and Game developers in a fluid environment and rapidly changing industry landscape that will call for creativity and thought leadership to enable business transformation.

You will provide innovative, industry-leading business generation and platform solutions for developers and publishers, proactively identify new opportunities, and influence product roadmap and strategy internally.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of the same store, fast growing app partners across verticals and optimize their growth. Build trusted, strategic relationships with partners and develop an understanding of their business challenges, and business growth opportunities.
  • Design, build and launch new App centric vertical narratives in the SEA market. Provide regular feedback to inform and influence product roadmap and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
  • Develop and implement scaled strategies that address growth opportunities in an Apps products suite (AdMob+Google AdManager) to enable partners' success.
  • Collaborate across functions to bring new products and strategic initiatives to market. Provide onboarding and troubleshooting support to external partners, test new products, design a systematic partner insights gathering process to feedback into product strategy.
  • Provide thought-leadership, solicit perspectives and insights from internal stakeholders across teams, such as Product, Engineering, GTM and Marketing.
