Job Description

Rippling is seeking talented and ambitious Account Executives for their Global Products team in North America. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage high-velocity sales cycles and act as an advisor to clients. Responsibilities include engaging with prospects, understanding their business needs, recommending tailored solutions, and closing revenue. Account Executives will be part of a multi-product organization, exposed to co-selling and solo-selling, and trained on the MEDDICC qualification methodology. Key tasks involve running sales cycles from discovery to close, achieving quota, managing pipeline in Salesforce, becoming a product expert, and collaborating with the Account Management team for customer transitions.
Good To Have:
  • HRIS/HCM, payroll, or global payroll sales experience
Must Have:
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 1+ years sales experience (SaaS B2B)
  • Carried sales quota
  • Top 10% sales performance
  • Thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication (Fluent English)

About the role


The Account Executive role at Rippling provides an extremely unique opportunity -- we’re looking for talented and ambitious Account Executives who can both manage a high-velocity sales cycle while being an advisor to Rippling’s customers. As an Emerging Small Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for the full consultative sales cycle - engaging with interested prospects and understanding their business needs, recommending tailored solutions through our product, and closing revenue.


As a seller, you will have a unique opportunity to be part of the multi-product organization and be exposed to co-selling and solo-selling opportunities. You will follow and be continuously trained on MEDDICC qualification methodology. 


What you will do

  • Run sales cycles from discovery and demo to close
  • Close business and achieve quota attainment consistently
  • Manage pipeline in Salesforce to accurately forecast revenue
  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitor landscape
  • Work closely with Account Management team to ensure a smooth transition for new customers

What you will need

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 1+ years sales experience, particularly in SaaS markets selling B2B
  • Experience carrying a sales quota
  • Experience of success (top 10% of sales org) 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication required - Fluent English
  • Experience selling HRIS/HCM, payroll, or global payroll products is a bonus
