Job Description

As an Account Manager, SMB Sales at Google Customer Solutions, you'll manage business growth, develop strategies for sustained success, and build relationships with clients. Responsibilities include surveying customers, identifying leads, and creating data-driven, long-term customer plans. You will devise advertising solutions to enhance customer accounts, contributing to Google's product and service growth. You'll deliver on strategic goals, prioritizing excellent customer experiences for Google advertisers. This role focuses on identifying, strategizing, and growing customers within a segment of Google's ecosystem, collaborating with clients to accelerate growth and achieve sustainable success on Google platforms. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, with experience in advertising sales and digital marketing.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising sales/marketing
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Experience with Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Good to have:
  • Experience managing multiple accounts
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in technology/advertising sales
  • Data-driven approach to campaign management

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in business development, client relationships and servicing, and consultative promoting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Experience with sales in a technology, advertising, media sales or internet environment.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts, while paying attention to details.
  • Ability to multi-task and grow in a fluid environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

As an Account Manager, you will identify, strategize, and grow customers within a segment of the Google Customer Solutions ecosystem. You will collaborate with clients to devise strategies to accelerate growth across a portfolio and set them up for sustainable growth on our platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business growth pipeline and develop a strategy for sustained success. Survey customers, identify leads, and build sustainable relationships.
  • Build data-driven, long-term customers, and agency plans to develop and deliver advertising solutions to enhance customers accounts, and contribute to the growth and direction of Google’s products and services.
  • Deliver on strategic goals, while prioritizing and delivering an excellent customer experience to Google's advertisers.
