Job Description

Account Strategists at Google Customer Solutions work with businesses of all sizes to develop and implement effective Google Ads strategies. This role requires fluent English and Danish communication skills to manage clients in the region. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth goals, establishing client relationships, conducting sales consultations, owning a portfolio of small businesses, driving customer growth, and achieving customer business objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, along with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and consistently exceed quotas. Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising is preferred.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in advertising/sales
  • Fluent English & Danish communication
  • Client relationship management
  • Achieve quarterly growth goals
Good to have:
  • Google Ads & online advertising experience
  • Google Digital Workshop certification
  • Proven ability to exceed quotas
  • Strong storytelling and narrative skills
  • Stakeholder influence

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Danish fluently, to manage client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising, with Google Digital Workshop certification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Denmark, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly business and product growth goals
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and sales pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on the Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
