Job Description

As an Administrative Business Partner at Google's Marketing team in Seoul, South Korea, you'll be the backbone of operational efficiency. You'll anticipate and resolve administrative issues before they impact team productivity, working closely with executives and team members. Responsibilities include calendar management, travel arrangements, expense management, event planning (both digital and in-person), budget management, and taking meeting minutes. Fluency in English and Korean is crucial for collaboration. You'll leverage Google's suite of products to streamline workflows and contribute to strategic project support. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across various teams and levels of the organization. You'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of the Marketing team, contributing significantly to Google's overall success.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years administrative experience supporting executives
  • Fluent English and Korean
  • Calendar management, travel scheduling, event planning
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with executive management support
  • Budgeting and expense management
  • Project coordination
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with executives or supporting teams on the administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to collaborate with stakeholders and complete tasks and organize events.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in an administrative role supporting executive management, including calendar management, event planning, project coordination, travel scheduling and booking, budgeting, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all business matters.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across a diverse range of people and job functions.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse community.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Establish trust and partnership with cross-functional teams and executives of the organization.
  • Execute administrative tasks (e.g., calendar management, travel scheduling, executive expense management, event and budget management).
  • Plan, manage and execute team events (e.g., digital and in person), all hands, leadership forums and other celebrations and milestones.
  • Participate as part of the organizing committee in administrative community activities within the organization or office.
  • Build responsiveness into existing operations and help define new operational strategies with the executives and the teams they manage.
