Japanese Interpreter and Translator (Contract)

Smilegate Entertainment seeks a contract Japanese Interpreter and Translator for their Sandbox project. Responsibilities include constant communication with Japanese partners, simultaneous interpretation during meetings, and translation of documents for collaborative projects. The ideal candidate possesses native-level Japanese fluency with simultaneous interpretation skills, deep understanding of Japanese business etiquette and culture, and a passion for games. Experience in game development, familiarity with game development terminology, and a background in Japanese translation/interpretation (especially at the graduate level) are highly valued. The position is based at Smilegate Campus in Seongnam, South Korea. A 3-month probationary period applies.
