Job Description

Varonis is seeking a Backend Engineer to develop and maintain .Net microservices, ensuring high performance, stability, and scalability. This role requires collaboration with product managers and other teams for seamless integration. Responsibilities include writing and maintaining high-quality, tested code. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in C# and .NET, strong Python and ETL experience, and knowledge of microservice architecture, cloud environments, CI/CD, testing, and coding best practices. Experience with large-scale distributed systems and big data processing is crucial. The position offers a flexible hybrid work model.

Must have:

.Net microservices development and maintenance
C# and .NET (4-5 years)
Python and ETL processes
Microservice architecture, cloud, CI/CD
High-quality code and testing

Good to have:

Azure Databricks
Big data technologies
Leading and designing features end-to-end
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain .Net microservices
Ensure the back-end components are high-performing, stable, and scalable.
Collaborate with product managers and other software teams for seamless integration.
Write and maintain high-quality, tested code.

Requirements

4-5 years of experience in C# and .NET.
Strong experience with Python and ETL processes.
Proven knowledge of microservice architecture, cloud environments, CI/CD, testing methodologies, and coding best practices.
Solid understanding of data integration and big data processing.
Experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Advantages

Experience with Azure Databricks and other big data technologies.
Experience leading and designing features end-to-end, integrating with multiple teams, and driving tasks to completion.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement.
