Job Description

At Veolia Spain, we are looking to incorporate a Biological Waste Treatment Engineer reporting to the Technical Director of Waste with the possibility of location in Madrid or Barcelona.

Functions

• Production Control and Monitoring: Monitor and analyze KPIs of waste treatment processes, prepare periodic technical performance reports, develop dashboards for operations monitoring.
• Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in existing facilities and propose technical improvements. Support the business unit in implementing operational improvements.
• Business Development: Prepare technical-economic studies for public tenders and private initiative projects. Analyze project viability.
• Document Management and Compliance: Manage and update environmental licenses and authorizations in support of business units.

Requirements

• Education: Desirable degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or similar
• Experience: At least 3 years in projects in waste treatment plants with organic processes (composting, biomethanization, drying, etc.).
• Languages: High English
• Availability for occasional travel depending on projects.
• Workplace: C/Torrelaguna, 60, Madrid or Passeig de la Zona Franca, 48, Barcelona.
