Business Developer / Market Access Specialist Power & Gas

IMC is launching a new power and gas trading business in Århus, Denmark, the hub for power and gas trading in Europe. We are dedicated to creating a strong, independent, Århus-based team with local leadership while drawing on IMC's more than 30 years of global trading expertise. 

We are looking for experienced professionals in power and gas trading and technology to join the team.

Your Core Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize business opportunities across global power and gas markets.
• Independently drive the process of obtaining market access for the desk, including onboarding with TSOs, trading venues, and setting up Direct Market Access via partners.
• Build, maintain, and expand business relationships with TSOs, trading venues, clearing, and other partners and stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Strong academic background.
• Previous professional experience in business development or a similar role in European power and gas trading.
• Outstanding structuring, planning, and project management skills.
• Ability to build, maintain, and expand strong relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
