Job Description

Aristocrat Interactive seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, test, and support infrastructure for its Remote Gaming Platform (RGP). This role involves designing new systems and services for production, implementing new environments, driving automation, proactively monitoring infrastructure, and resolving live/staging issues. Responsibilities include handling service requests and employing ITIL best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong GCP experience (Cloud Armour, GKE, Anthos), Linux expertise, Palo Alto firewall/Panorama knowledge, Docker/Kubernetes skills, virtualization experience (OpenStack, VMware), and excellent networking skills. The role requires experience with highly transactional systems and a collaborative team approach.

Must have:

GCP experience (Cloud Armour, GKE, Anthos)
Linux systems experience
Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
Docker and Kubernetes
Virtualization (OpenStack, VMware)
Excellent networking skills
MongoDB/SQL administration and deployment

As a PEG Engineer you will be working in a team that builds out and supports the infrastructure powering RGP across the globe. Our cloud first approach will allow you to use modern tools and techniques to deliver a world class infrastructure platform.

What You'll Do

Design and test new systems/services and their suitability production use
Partake in the design and implementation for new environments
Drive process improvements and automation to maintain and support the growth of the infrastructure platform
Proactive monitoring and support of the live and staging infrastructure
Investigate and react to any live or staging issues that might arise
Handle service requests, incidents, problems and change requests, using ITIL best practice.

What We're Looking For

Experience in developing and supporting infrastructure for highly transactional systems
Demonstrates consistent quality in their work and dependability as a team member.

Employs creative reasoning and lateral thinking to solve problems.
Engages in productive and respectful discussions, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Strong knowledge and experience of Cloud Infrastructure platforms, specifically GCP including services like Cloud Armour, GKE, Anthos
Extensive experience with Linux based systems
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls including Panorama
Experience with docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Virtualisation - Openstack, Vmware
Excellent networking skills including: packet capture and analysis, DNS
Experience with MongoDB/SQL from an administration and deployment perspective
