Nasdaq seeks an experienced and creative storyteller to serve as the in-house Content Marketer for the Nasdaq Center for Board Excellence, a community of executives and board members within the Corporate Solutions business. The Community Content Marketer will be responsible for writing content that channels Nasdaq’s brand voice and elevates internal and external expertise to drive community expansion and engagement.
Dynamic, fresh, and timely content and messaging is critical to capturing attention of our target audience, attributing credibility to our subject matter experts, and helping the community maximize engagement and reach. This individual is equipped to conduct research, write copy, and manage the entire content creation process for a variety short-form, long-form, and digital assets, such as research papers, blog posts, fact sheets, best practice guides, whitepapers, video scripts, social media, and more.
This role reports to the Global Head of Content and will collaborate with the broader Corporate Solutions marketing and business teams, across Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, Client Marketing, Events & Partnerships, and Strategy functions. This role is a critical part in supporting our in-house experts and key partners turn their insights and domain knowledge into content that compels community building and showcases Nasdaq’s expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Content Planning: Manage editorial calendar to effectively prioritize content requests; Identify and develop new storylines that educate and inform, generate membership growth, and inspire meaningful conversation with key audiences; Translate complex and niche topics into compelling stories and adjust style and approach to a variety of formats, verticals, platforms, and audiences; Leverage internal and external data sources to quickly react to trends and cultural moments; Monitor thematic landscape and audience opportunities and challenges to identify actionable content.
- Content Development: Own the end-to-end content development process and serve as lead copywriter and editor for long-form, short-form, and digital assets. The editorial process includes ideation, research, writing, fact-checking, producing and amplifying new content across channels. You will work closely with internal and external subject matter experts and will be comfortable hosting discovery calls and leveraging insights to create content. You will also partner with Nasdaq’s Brand Content and Legal teams to ensure asset deliverables follow brand style and compliance guidelines and work with digital marketing to ensure copy is optimized for search. You will be familiar with Corporate Platforms’ suite of Governance, ESG, and Investor relations solutions and target personas to find unique ways to connect our solutions to our community efforts. Additionally, you will continuously strive to identify and improve process efficiencies using artificial intelligence to increase performance and scale delivery.
- Content Marketing: Develop and own the strategy to market content through organic and inorganic strategies including social media, media, website, and newsletters. You will also be responsible for internal visibility and awareness of new and available content for use across marketing, business, sales and account management functions as well as thematic coordination across teams, in partnership with key business stakeholders.
- Content Performance: Own performance reporting delivered to key marketing and business stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure visibility and understanding of key content engagement drivers. You will also use data and analytics to recommend new content artifacts or deliverables to increase engagement and continued enhancement opportunities.
Competencies:
- 3+ years of copywriting and editing content management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills and understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
- Strong research, writing and editing skills in English required
- Expert command of grammar rules and attention to detail
- Executive presence and confidence to execute projects with senior and executive stakeholders
- Ability to take complex concepts and make them understandable across regions and buyer personas
- Ability to handle multiple content projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

The base pay range for this role is $56,200 - $93,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
