Job Description

As a Design Verification Engineer Student at Marvell, you will be part of the CnM team, focusing on the design and verification of cutting-edge IP development for Switching projects. The role involves collaborating with various teams including system, architecture, design, verification, and software engineers. You will be responsible for implementing and performing verification of different design IPs and multidisciplinary systems, writing test documents, defining testing processes, and validating system requirements. The team works on the Control and management Subsystem in Marvell Switching SoCs and serves customers who are other chip companies and big tech companies. The team hires some of the biggest problem solvers in Silicon and has a huge impact on the work done at Marvell.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in related fields
  • Overall top-down system view
  • Well-organized documentation skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
  • Self-learning and motivated to achieve project goals
Good to have:
  • Skills in scripting Perl/Python - Advantage

The CnM team is responsible for the Control and management Subsystem in Marvell Switching SoCs. The CnM is the switch internal management system, incorporating the CPU subsystem, DDR, Host DMA, PCIe, USB, and Security.
The team hires some of the biggest problem solvers in Silicon and has a huge impact on the work done at Marvell. The customers served by this team are often other chip companies and big tech companies, familiar names to all candidates.

What You Can Expect

Be part of the CnM team, working on CnM IPs for the Switching projects:

  • You'll be responsible for the design and verification of cutting-edge IP development 

  • Involve with next-generation CnM development

  • Collaborate with engineers from other teams, including system, architecture, design, verification, and software.

  • You will implement and perform verification different design IPs and for multidisciplinary systems (that combine hardware, firmware and software), write test documents, define testing processes and validate system requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Student for Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, 2nd year and above

  • Overall top-down system view

  • Well-organized documentation and research process

  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and works well in teams

  • Self-learning skills and highly motivated to achieve project goals

  • Skills in scripting Perl/Python - Advantage
