Job Description

The Director of Americas Sales Operations at Zscaler will lead a team supporting the AMS Sales organization. Responsibilities include defining and delivering sales metrics, leading operational cadence, driving pipeline reviews, and operational planning. This role requires collaboration with sales leaders and functional leads to optimize sales processes, forecasting, and quota attainment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, proficiency in Salesforce, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for Go-to-market strategies, quota assignment, territory creation, and headcount planning. They will also drive business process improvements and workflow creation.

We're looking for an experienced, remote Director of Americas Sales Operations to join our GTM team. Reporting to the VP of GTM Operations, you will lead a team and support Zscaler AMS Sales Organization focused on alignment/partnership with the SVP of AMS, Area Sales VPs, all sales leaders for the AMS, and key functional leads aligned to AMS.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver leading indicating sales metrics, key performance indicators and other analytics to internal stakeholders in coordination with the business intelligence team
  • Lead a weekly, monthly and quarterly operating cadence for the AMS along with the AMS Sales Leader.  This includes all lead to order processes leading with forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Driving a monthly pipeline review to ensure adequate quota coverage, pipeline created, identify weaknesses in the sales process for pipeline progression and help create an action plan to maximize conversion/progression of pipeline
  • Lead Operational planning for the AMS Sales organization including local & geo Go-to-market strategies, quota / target assignment, account assignment, territory creation, and headcount planning in alignment with the annual operating plan and long-range plan.
  • Driving business process, workflow creation & re-engineering and productivity improvement initiatives.  

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 10+ years related work experience required
  • College degree
  • Proficiency in SFDC, Microsoft Office, and Google suite
  • Experience with customer service orientation, analytics and problem-solving

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • MBA and can substitute for experience
  • Software/SaaS Industry experience

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$168,000$240,000 USD
