About this Role
Fandom is seeking an experienced and creative Go-To-Market (GTM) B2B Leader. This role is crucial in crafting, executing and maintaining a comprehensive and evolving GTM strategy, ensuring we are relevant and top of mind for advertisers.
Reporting to the VP, Global Business Marketing, this management role will lead a GTM strategy team and is crucial in helping reintroduce Fandom to the marketplace and consistently iterate on Fandom’s offering during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
You Will...
- What we do: Storytelling and value proposition
- Refine and develop Fandom’s core narrative and GTM template
- Identify GTM needs and work cross-functionally (i.e. research, design, comms, social) to ensure success
- Lead with insights and translate for both direct and programmatic sales, scaling products, solutions and opportunities for marketplace distribution
- Lead evolving narrative revamps and releases, including sales enablement & coordination/training for client strategy and sales support team
Where we win: Marketplace understanding and big thinking
- Establish a tentpole calendar and create scalable and fluctuating proactive packages complete with strategic release strategies
- Understand marketplace possibilities, proactively identifying relevant opportunities for Fandom globally
- Proactively identify cultural moments for proactive sales outreach and packaging
- Partner with sales leadership to understand their GTM needs and create core vertical narratives
- Customize tentpole packages for key verticals
What we need: Scalable franchises and strategic advances
- With your finger on the pulse, identify sales gaps and realize solutions for immediate release
- Lead ideation, packaging and positioning for new and revised ad products including repeatable and ownable franchises and ad tech releases
- Regularly liaise with Client Strategy lead to share learnings and ensure that sales meetings are being met holistically
- Curation, programmatic, AI – help accelerate our business by understanding and leveraging the latest industry developments and opportunities
- WIth a deep understanding on insights and analytics, determine which products are working and why, what needs to evolve and where we can grow
- Mentor junior team members, ensuring career development and growth
You Have...
- 8-12 years of experience in GTM positioning and packaging
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience with digital marketing, social media, and content strategy, preferably in the tech or media industry.
- Excellent strategic planning and project management abilities.
- Deep understanding of market research, data analysis, and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments, including product, sales, and engineering.
