We're looking for an Event Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for managing all events both on and off site for the Pattern EMEA Marketing Team. The Event Specialist will lead in planning and executing all aspects of event planning and help manage everything from vendors, agencies, industry and company events, to coordinating speaking engagements for Pattern executives. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Lead the planning and delivery for events including summits, roundtables, workshops, and trainings

  • Execute an average of 16 events per year with end-to-end plan and follow-up, measurement, and ROI

  • Event tasks may include scheduling, sponsorships, speaking arrangements, vendor management, AV services, catering, editing, organizing, and storing content related to events

  • Own event reporting for the team

  • Own the marketing and sales event budget by handling invoices and purchases for events

  • Project manage content including invitations, email follow-ups, landing pages, etc., when needed for marketing/sales events

  • Work with additional vendors for contracting events

  • Manage swag, booths, banners, hand-outs, and other materials needed for events

  • Ensuring collaboration and handoffs with key Pattern partners including consultants, law firms, etc.

  • Arranging logistics and presentations for sales teams, customers, and partners

  • Preparing status reports on event marketing efforts by communicating with appropriate partner, sales, and marketing executives

  • Liaising with internal team members, advertising agencies, vendors, and other Pattern departments (e.g. sales, operations, legal) as needed

  • Setting up tracking systems and campaign codes for event marketing activities

  • Collaborating with the creative team to plan and execute campaigns

  • Updating and maintaining accurate opportunity details and campaign performance in Salesforce.com and Marketo

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related program

  • 1-3 years of experience running industry or B2B events

  • Ability to learn quickly and strong attention to detail

  • Strongly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated success as an Event Marketing Coordinator or similar role

  • Willingness to travel (10-15%)

  • Excellent selling and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, simultaneously prioritizing work to meet competing deadlines

  • High ethical standards, self-driven, organized, and proactive mindset

  • Versatile and comfortable juggling multiple projects with several moving parts at once

  • Moderate analysis skills in Excel including pivot tables, advanced filtering, and conditional formatting
