Job Description

The Executive Producer - Content & Quality oversees Content & Quality Management (CQM), a team of industry veterans. Key responsibilities include establishing CQM goals, managing team deployment, setting up processes and benchmarks for content and quality upgrades, supporting company knowledge building, and collaborating with production and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality game experiences. This role involves driving project reviews within Tencent's Gate Review system and managing content and quality-related development problems for portfolio studios. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in the videogame industry, a game development background in PC/Console (AAA title experience a plus), and experience leading development or central support teams.

What the Role Entails

Main role

  • Oversee Content & Quality Management (CQM), a team of industry veterans with expertise across various fields (e.g. Narrative, Art).
  • Organize and drive project reviews, both as part Tencent’s Gate Review system, and as part of on-demand reviews in between official milestones
  • Help CQM establish stronger quality benchmarks and innovation initiatives that increase the overall strength of Tencent’s global games portfolio
     

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the CQM team to establish overall goals, objectives and priorities
  • Manage deployment/allocation of expert team and consultants to help our portfolio studios solve content and quality-related development problems
  • Set up necessary processes, frameworks, benchmarks, that help drive content and quality upgrades and editorial management
  • Support the company with knowledge and capability building, and help promote more ideation across portfolio companies
  • Work closely with production and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and innovative game experiences

Who We Look For

  • 10+ years of professional experience in videogames industry
  • Game development background in PC/Console, global/western markets; AAA title experience a plus
  • Has shipped multiple games
  • Experience leading development or central support teams
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex, cross-cultural work environments
