Job Description

The Global Manager, Partner Systems at SIE will lead the development and optimization of partner-facing systems and processes. This includes partner and user management, system integration, data integrity, application support, managing business changes (M&A), and reporting. Responsibilities involve monitoring KPIs, process refinement, collaboration with platform teams, supporting partners in achieving their business goals, and identifying automation opportunities. The role requires strong cross-team collaboration, deep systems knowledge, and a global mindset. Successful candidates will manage vendor teams, mentor team members, build expertise in PlayStation Partner toolchains, and maintain data governance. They will also collaborate with platform teams on system updates, implement robust incident-handling processes, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement.

Global Manager, Partner Systems

As the Global Manager of Partner Systems, you will take ownership of and drive the development and optimization of partner-facing systems and processes. These include, but are not limited to, partner and user management, systems integration, data integrity, application support, business changes (e.g., mergers and acquisitions), and reporting. You will monitor key metrics and KPIs, refine processes, and collaborate with platform teams to deliver impactful projects. Additionally, you will support partners in achieving their business goals while identifying opportunities for automation and improvement.

This role demands strong cross-team collaboration, deep knowledge of systems and data hierarchies, and a global mindset to work effectively across diverse cultures and time zones.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Maintain and enhance systems-driven processes, workflows, and operations.
  • Align with leadership to improve team cohesion and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Collaborate effectively across regions and organizational boundaries.
  • Meet or exceed team KPIs, goals, and objectives.
  • Deliver on special projects and uphold SIE values and guiding principles.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Manage vendor teams responsible for outsourced critical functions.
  • Mentor, nurture, and manage team members, including tracking and evaluating their performance.

Systems and Data Management

  • Build and grow expertise in PlayStation Partner toolchains to support critical business activities.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of data hierarchies and governance to ensure effective change management.
  • Oversee and execute support functions to manage system changes as requested by partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Platform teams (especially Engineering) to plan and execute system updates and secure partner operations.
  • Work collaboratively across organizational boundaries to identify strategies for ongoing optimization.

Incident Management and Reporting

  • Implement robust incident-handling processes, ensuring effective tracking and resolution.
  • Generate and analyze reports on metrics, KPIs, and other key measures to identify opportunities and successes.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, solving for both partner and business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies for enhanced customer and operator experiences.
  • Analyze data to uncover behaviors and patterns for further optimization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in data analysis, emerging technologies, and modern tools for efficiency improvement.
  • Proven track record of success in application support and driving positive change.
  • Hands-on experience with data hierarchies, governance, and automation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills (internal and external).
  • Fluent in Japanese and English.
  • Background in the games industry or B2B customer experience.

システムおよびデータ管理

  • 重要なビジネス活動をサポートするため、PlayStation Partnerツールチェーンの専門知識を構築および拡大する。
  • データ階層およびガバナンスの知識を維持・拡張し、効果的な変更管理を確保する。
  • パートナーから要求されたシステム変更を管理するため、サポート機能を監督し実行する。

部門間の協力
