Job Description

The Inside Channel Manager (ICM) will manage and service a large portfolio of resellers in the UAE market, contributing to Milestone Systems' expansion. Responsibilities include building and deepening reseller relationships, phone sales, partner development, cold calling, recruiting new partners, driving awareness of Milestone products, working with Inside Sales, participating in events, utilizing CRM systems (Salesforce), forecasting, and exceeding targets. The role requires collaboration with a team of Channel Business Managers and a Key Account Manager to achieve team goals. The ideal candidate will be a highly driven sales professional with excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and experience in channel management within the IT/technical or security/video surveillance sectors.
Must have:
  • 2-3 years channel management experience
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office)
  • Fluent in Arabic and English

Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Inside Channel Manager (ICM) for the UAE market, who has the skills to manage and service a large portfolio of resellers and actively contribute to the expansion of Milestone Systems in the territory. It will be your responsibility to prioritize your accounts and the attention given, so that the business potential of the portfolio is maximized.  

United Arab Emirates is an important market in the EMEA region, and you will have a key role in the ongoing development of this territory. The resellers you will be focusing on are in UAE. 

You will be based in our Dubai office, where you will be communicating with our prioritized channel partners. The office environment in Dubai can at times be vibrant and dynamic with sales, presales, and marketing colleagues in and out, and at times be quiet and only populated with few colleagues. You can see yourself thrive under these conditions. The position will report to the middle East Sales manager

Your Responsibilities:

  • Building, driving and deepening the relations with resellers in the entry level and mid-market 
  • Phone sales channel partners development
  • Cold callings, Recruitment of new partners
  • Initiate and drive one to many activities to ensure that the awareness and knowledge of Milestone is high within our distributors and your partner base 
  • Work closely with Inside Sales at distribution to increase Milestone footprint with more resellers and partners 
  • Occasionally participate at webinars, events, seminars and exhibitions – and from time to time be responsible for driving the attendance and follow up 
  • Ensuring that your portfolio makes optimal use of the tools and systems made available 
  • Registration of interactions in SalesForce CRM system. 
  • Be responsible for forecast and overachieve targets.
  • Work with a team of 2 Channel business Managers and a Key account manager and help them to achieve the entire team goals.

Professional qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of experience in the territory with security and/or video surveillance is an advantage, however not a must. If you are a fast learner, we will teach you. 
  • You have ideally been selling products and solutions that are IT / technical 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in channel management, with a proven success record is a must 
  • Strong IT skills specifically with MS Office 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage, but not a demand 
  • Fluent in Arabic and good proficiency in English (oral and written) is a requirement

  • You enjoy opening doors and from time to time do cold calling to new prospects and partners.

  • You are relationship oriented, and sets Business on top of the agenda
