As we continue our quest to democratise financial services, we are now looking for an inspiring iOS developer to join one of our Teams shaping up our solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with a group of passionate people (product managers, app- developers, QAs and many more) working on making our Merchants' everyday experience best-in-class. A glimpse of what you would get here

Part of our Payments Alliance, our Tap to Pay Team is built around payments SDK allowing our merchants to make card payments in Zettle apps and partner apps with Zettle card readers. You'll be in close contact with other engineers in order to create a tailored user experience for our merchants and great public API for our partners. It's important that you understand API design and how to consume them, but don't worry, the team will be there to help you out.

You will be able to collaborate with other teams and iOS developers across the whole iOS chapter, by code reviews, bouncing ideas or mob programming (we're big fans!). If this intro already sparks your interest, scroll down, and read on... the best is yet to come.

Your responsibilities will include

• Design, implement and maintain features with a high degree of autonomy for iOS SDK
• Collaborating with other teams and be ready to help our SDK integrators.
• Take an active part in system design
• Work on interesting problems together with talented peers in cross-functional agile teams
• Experiment and learn about design, technology, and processes.
• Ensure a high level of quality, usability, and maintainability of the (reusable) components and code.

• You have a good knowledge of Objective C and Swift
• You have extensive experience working with Apple’s framework
• Good understanding of the interaction between hardware and software product
• You have experience or interest in working with Bluetooth.
• You always write testable, maintainable code.
• You have a quality first mindset and are eager to write tests, care for the overall performance of the product.
• Interested in keeping up to date with the latest technological development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Nice to have

• You have designed and maintained libraries/APIs used by others
• You have experience in working with SDK integrators.
• You have experience with payments transactions in FinTech.
