Snowprint Studios seeks a Junior Marketing Artist to elevate its marketing visuals. This role involves collaborating with marketing and game development teams to design and edit 2D and video marketing materials, including trailers and ads for live ops events and new content releases. The artist will optimize assets for various platforms, conduct A/B testing, analyze performance metrics, research creative trends, and ensure brand consistency across all promotional channels. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in design and video editing software (Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), a strong portfolio showcasing 2D and video work for digital/mobile platforms, a passion for mobile games (especially turn-based RPGs), and excellent communication skills. This is a fast-paced role requiring effective multi-tasking.

Snowprint Studios is looking for a Junior Marketing Artist to bring the visuals of our marketing initiatives to the next level. As a Junior Marketing Artist, you will play a key role in creating compelling visual content for our marketing campaigns. Working closely with the marketing and game development teams, you’ll design and edit 2D and video materials to engage and attract players. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in the games industry in a creative, fast-paced environment.

This role is based in our Berlin Studio.

What you will bring to our universe

  • Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
  • Collaborate with game developers to understand key features and translate them into impactful visuals such as video trailers and image ads, especially for significant live ops events and new content releases.
  • Optimize marketing assets for different platforms and audiences, including producing variations of the same creative concept to support A/B tests to identify best-performing creatives.
  • Produce and edit artwork for Social Media posts and other art content for community activities to increase audience engagement.
  • Analyze performance metrics such as click-through rates and impression-to-install conversion rates to refine and improve creative output.
  • Research creative trends among mobile games as well as adjacent verticals and present findings to the wider marketing team.
  • Ensure that content creators and brand ambassadors have all the latest marketing art material for their promotions, following strict brand guidelines.

To succeed in this role, we also think you need…

  • Proficiency in design and video editing software and motion graphics (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro). 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing 2D and video work, especially for digital or mobile platforms.
  • Passion for mobile games, especially turn-based RPGs, with an understanding of their target audience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
  • (Bonus) Experience with motion graphics or 3D design tools such as Autodesk Maya or similar, and rudimentary knowledge of the game engine Unity3D is also nice to have.
