Job Description

AECOM is a global infrastructure consulting firm seeking a Landscape Designer to join their team. The role involves providing landscape advice on planning, design, and implementation, developing design plans to address technical problems, and creating innovative solutions that consider environmental, social, legal, and economic factors. The designer will manage projects, develop landscape design and planning concepts, and translate them into compelling graphics. Responsibilities include preparing landscape designs, supervising implementation, assessing consultant performance, and conducting landscape-related studies and research. The role also requires demonstrating the ability to organize, lead, and mentor a design team.
Must have:
  • Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
  • 2-5 years experience as Landscape Designer
  • Strong design, graphic, and visualization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Good English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Portfolio of built work
Good to have:
  • Masters degree in Landscape Architecture

Job Description

  • Provide landscape advice on planning, design and implementation of landscape work
  • Develop design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope
  • Develop innovative solutions to problems that effectively address the environmental, social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form.
  • Provide project or task management to develop landscape design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images
  • Prepare landscape designs, supervise the implementation of works contracts, supervise performance of consultants, carry out landscape related studies and research
  • Demonstrate ability to organize, lead and mentor supporting design team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture or closely related field required. Masters degree in Landscape Architecture preferred
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Landscape Designer
  • Provide promising portfolio of built work which demonstrates technical capabilities.
  • Experience working on medium to large-sized international projects.
  • Strong capabilities of design, graphic and visualization
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conceptual ability highly regarded.
  • Portfolio attached is a must.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Auto CAD and Adobe Creative Suite software, 3D modelling programs, etc.
  • Good writing and oral communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
