Job Description

This role involves collaborating with the Lead Artist and Producer to define and enhance 2D environment art styles. Key responsibilities include creating 2D level maps, object, and prop designs, managing outsourcing partners, and working with R&D teams to refine visual presentation. Candidates should possess strong art fundamentals, proficiency in 2D top-down realistic dark styles, and expertise in PS, 3D, and AI tools. A minimum of five years of experience in game development, including at least one complete project, is required, along with adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with Lead Artist and Producer to define 2D environment art style.
  • Continuously improve 2D environment quality.
  • Produce 2D level maps, object designs, and prop designs.
  • Source, screen, and manage high-quality outsourcing partners.
  • Communicate and collaborate with R&D teams.
  • Continuously refine and enhance environment presentation.
  • Possess solid art fundamentals and excellent aesthetic sense.
  • Proficient in 2D top-down realistic dark style.
  • Passionate about dark hack-and-slash games.
  • Proficient in PS painting, 3D assistance, and AI assistance.
  • Able to continuously refine and iterate on scene performance.
  • Good communication and comprehension skills.
  • Able to accurately grasp key project requirements.
  • More than five years of work experience.
  • Experience in at least one complete game development.
  • Possess a development spirit.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced development environment.
