Job Summary

Job Description

Review job ticket instructions to determine production requirements and participate in planning meetings. Utilize software such as Illustrator and Photoshop for file assembly and preparation for digital production. Adhere to guidelines, process requirements, and maintain brand consistency. Ensure digital files are saved in designated locations following document control file naming specifications. Guarantee the quality of digital files before submission to QC with the goal of "Right The First Time." Ensure all tasks are completed according to SGS's best practice approach. Become familiar with the assigned client's terminology, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Perform self-quality control on all work, following department SOPs, and check, sign-off, and date checklists. Update schedulers and customer service on job status. Ensure all jobs and materials are properly charged. Clearly communicate necessary information to co-workers when handing off jobs. Be willing to extend working hours and attend necessary digital meetings. Be open to continuous development and absorbing new workflows. Assist in developing written procedures for new clients and projects.

Job Details

  • Review job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production. Participate in meetings about planning when
    necessary.
  • Using relevant software/s (Illustrator, Photoshop) in performing assembly functions to prepare files for Digital
    production.
  • To respect all guidelines and process requirements and maintain brand consistency;
  • Ensuring that all digital files are saved in designated file locations that follows document control file naming specifications;
  • Assuring the quality of digital files before submitting to QC with the aims of “Right The First Time”;
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with SGS’s best practice approach;
  • Make sure himself/herself is familiar with the assigned client’s terminology, brand guidelines, and regulations requirements.
  • Self-QC all work performed following the department SOPs. Check, sign-off, and date checklists.
  • Update the schedulers & Customer Service regarding the job status.
  • Make sure all jobs and materials are properly charged.
  • When handing off jobs to co-workers, clearly communicate any information for them to complete the job.
  • Willing to extend working hours.
  • Attend necessary Digital meetings when required or requested.
  • Willing to accept continuous development wherein he/she is open to absorbing new and efficient workflows or workaround.
  • Assist in the development of written procedures as new clients and projects are added
