Job Description
The Specialist Manager, gTech Ads, leads a team of product specialists driving strategies to help advertisers achieve their business objectives. Responsibilities include coaching the team, fostering a customer-centric culture, building commercial strength, prioritizing capabilities, and developing and executing team strategies. The role requires 11+ years of experience in customer relationship development within digital media/advertising, along with 5+ years of team leadership, data-driven decision-making, and business planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong mentorship skills and a proven ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries to influence and align resources effectively. Locations include Gurugram and Bengaluru, India.
Must have:
- 11+ years customer relationship experience in digital media/advertising
- 5+ years team leadership, mentoring, and development
- Data-driven decision-making and business planning
- Customer-centric approach & commercial acumen
- Strategy development and execution
Good to have:
- Master's degree in Business Administration
- Cross-organizational collaboration & influence
- Media industry knowledge & creative problem-solving

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of experience in developing relationships with customers, and working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions.
- 5 years of experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams.
- Experience with leadership in applying data insights to have an impact on business performance.
- Experience in creating annual business and investment plans.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries to influence teams with similar objectives, aligning resources and direction.
- Knowledge of Media Industry issues to advance Google's strategies within the marketplace by being creative and performance-minded.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of product specialists responsible for driving the strategy to help advertisers meet their business objectives.
- Be a coach for the team and demonstrate expansive and reductive thinking. Provide mentorship, career evaluations and facilitate professional development plans.
- Focus on promoting a customer-centric culture by pivoting all solutions around Customer/Marketing Objectives and building commercial muscle within the team to help deliver business growth through scaled work.
- Prioritize and build capabilities and be the point of contact for gTech Ads Solutions for markets.
- Contribute and own the strategy development and execution for your team.
