Job Description

The Account Executive at Google Customer Solutions (GCS) will leverage their expertise in online media, communication, and analytics to help businesses grow. This customer-facing role requires fluent English and Korean communication. Responsibilities include partnering with executives, managing business growth, prioritizing customer experience, and generating plans collaboratively. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of digital advertising, and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business goals. The role involves working with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure customer success and drive revenue growth for Google's advertising solutions.
Must have:

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to interact in this customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, with the ability to achieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics, and product knowledge across all digital advertising products.
  • Ability to assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including questioning, objection handling, and engaged promotions.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As an Account Executive, you will use your knowledge of advertising and industry vertical to help the team identify and enable longer-term opportunities by contributing to business plan development, account-level strategy, and annual activation plans. You will support the team in business strategy development, presenting, customer relationship growth, and opportunity sizing. You will contribute to cross-team collaborations to support customer growth, align on opportunity/project timelines and goals, and ensure Google solutions are presented to customers. You will develop relationships with customers, acting as a point of contact.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a partnership with executives and serve as a trusted consultant with an understanding of industry insights and solutions, optimizing and expanding their advertising investment.
  • Manage a group of businesses by understanding what promotes growth, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for growth.
  • Prioritize and deliver a positive customer experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers and product teams, and define business goals, key strategies, and metrics for success.
