Job Description

This role focuses on making Siri and Apple Intelligence features smarter for users, contributing to the next revolution in AI and Machine Learning. The engineer will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to improve the quality and user experience of Apple products. Responsibilities include designing and developing on-device systems and frameworks to enhance Apple Intelligence quality, leveraging machine learning technologies like LLMs and MLLMs to automate processes, and advancing the evaluation pipeline. The role also involves continuously enhancing on-device measurement frameworks and driving the next generation of products across all Apple platforms.

- Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders to improve the overall quality and user experience of numerous Apple products.
- Design and develop on-device system and framework to enhance the quality of Apple Intelligence, ensuring our AI/ML models meet the highest standards.
- Leverage machine learning technologies (e.g., LLMs, MLLMs) to automate on-device processes, generate and collect on-device signals, and advance the evaluation pipeline to the next level.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance on-device measurement frameworks, adopting best practices and integrating the latest advancements in technology.
- You’ll play a pivotal role in developing Apple Intelligence, driving the next generation of groundbreaking products across all Apple platforms.
