We are seeking talented and motivated professionals to join our team, focusing on delivering the latest in Application Operations (SaaS) using AWS. You will configure backend systems and infrastructure for our global SaaS platform, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the Amazon AWS platform. This role involves troubleshooting and problem-solving in a culture that encourages autonomous productive teams. You will work with highly talented engineers and architects, deploying, monitoring, automating, and supporting a highly scalable real-time critical platform impacting millions of individuals and billions of dollars. Responsibilities include managing complex cloud-hosted applications, supporting maintenance activities, managing daily data processing, troubleshooting failures, building proactive monitoring and alerting services, automation using Ansible, Python, and Perl scripting, setting up and securing new application instances, managing changes, deploying patches, creating deployment and rollback plans, and maintaining a knowledge base. You will also create and set up deployment scripts, configure and optimize instances and web servers, and collaborate with technical and operations teams to meet customer needs. The role involves working on critical customer problems spanning multiple AWS services, improving customer operations through automation, building utilities for internal use, and driving customer communication during critical events. On-call support and flexible work in a 24/7 shift environment are also required.
