As Area Manager, responsibilities include supervising store operations of the respective areas, together with driving sales and marketing efforts related to stores. The directions of these on- ground responsibilities are to be in line with the objectives of the business unit head. Additionally, new initiatives are to be implemented on the ground (including disseminating downline communications)
Responsibilities
Ensuring day to day discipline of store personnel are maintained, and customer service quality is maintained
Doing market research on competitors in the respective areas
Work with Human Resource department to hire for any vacant positions
Working with the QA team to train new hires
Developing a complete understanding of client needs
Managing communications between core company departments, and the business unit
Working with the business unit head on commercial focus, relative to local competition
Maintaining store operational discipline, and ensuring downline communications for new initiatives are disseminated clearly and effectively
Requirements
Ability to multitask and manage more than one deliverable at a time
Eager to expand the company with new sales and clients
Ability to identify opportunities in the market, from a localised perspective
Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be an advantage but not a must)
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree of any field, with a firm grasp of sales and operations
At least 3 years of working experience in logistics or e-commerce industry is preferred for this position
