This is an exciting opportunity to join a new, yet experienced studio working on a new open world game.  As Art Director you are responsible for establishing the artistic vision of the project, working with the art team to define a holistic visual experience. As the Vision holder, you ensure effective communication of visual ambition to the whole team, collaborating with the discipline leads to ensure quality throughout the project.  Through this collaboration you help provide concise feedback, mentorship and support to help them to achieve their potential.

Acting as a creative thinker and working with the Technical Art team, you help each discipline to solve the visual challenges with a combination of technical processes and elegant artistic choices. You're not alone in this adventure, you will work closely with experienced industry peers from Design, Technical Art and Engineering, who continually support each other in a company culture where collaboration is at the heart of what we do.

Key Duties Include

• Champion the art vision
• Lead all visuals and teams to a high standard
• To build a team of Artists to create a high quality realistic world
• Set visual benchmarks and standards as line manager to each of the leads
• Train, mentor and develop all art staff
