Position Summary:
At MedscapeLIVE! you will be responsible for assisting the Program Management and Account Management teams. You will work closely with our Program Management team to successfully compile, QC, and submit all assets through the MLR process. Additionally, you will assist the Account Management team to manage client relationships and enabling flawless event execution. The applicant will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the organization, must be willing to be coached, and eager to learn new skills quickly. The applicant should be a highly organized, able to work independently while working collaboratively, detail oriented, and excel in a deadline-driven environment.

 

What You’ll Do:
  • Thorough development, QC, and submission of all program assets through the MLR process. This includes assisting with edits, resubmissions, and launch of assets sometimes on tight deadlines  
  • Assist with client management through focused attention to detail, accountability, concise communications, and a sense of urgency
  • Manage internal team deliverables, timelines, and clearly defined next steps 
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, meeting client and management expectations, and ensuring programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters
  • Schedule and join client meetings, lead internal meetings as needed, and assist with client communications
  • Use project management software to track projects and provide frequent status updates
  • Assist with problem solving issues as they arise 
  • Overall ownership of client program success and execution 
  • Onsite presence as needed for in-studio broadcasts

  • Proactive and interested in building your skillset to take on more responsibility 
  • Accepting of constructive feedback and committed to overall account success 
  • Has the ability to work overtime or travel, as needed

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years in Project Management or Account Services, preferably within the healthcare or medical education environment
  • Experience in an external client-facing environment 
  • Highly professional, ability to work independently, and foster collaborative work relationships
  • Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and an eye for details
  • Thrives in a high-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines and necessity for rapid responses
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and grammar skills
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet clients’ business needs, if needed. Travel may be required 
  • Experience with Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) preferred
  • Prior working experience in Workfront is a plus

 

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
