Responsibilities
Design, implement, and deliver highly scalable backend services and systems for global e-commerce business, including product, transaction, payment, fulfillment, and after-sales.
Participate in data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security, and highly scalable systems design.
Continuously improve the stability, scalability, and quality of the existing services and architecture of central product systems.
Maintain the quality and stability of the system, and guide engineers at all levels to continuously optimize various technical indicators of the system.
Investigate and implement new technologies related to e-commerce business.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Designing and architecting large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using object-oriented design and distributed programming;
Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services;
Designing and implementing scalable, fault tolerant, and distributed backend event driven architecture;
Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of back-end and cloud native projects;
Programing using SQL, Python, or Java; and
Maintaining and debugging software services.
Travel requirement: Domestic and international travel required up to 10%.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $163862 - $237500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
