About the role:
Amber is looking for a highly motivated and energetic person for a role in our Business Development team.
The Business Development Specialist will have the opportunity to play a key role in finding new business partners for the Development Support Services division and implementing the company’s growth strategy.
The Quest:
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager, Chief Revenue Officer and Amber’s Leadership on implementing the company’s growth plans to drive the best possible business outcomes.
- Prospect the market and attend industry events as necessary in order to identify new business leads.
- Analyze and qualify business opportunities to generate new revenue.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners.
- Present the value proposition of the company's products or services, negotiate agreements, collaborate with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Send reports / status updates to relevant stakeholders within the company.
- Travel to visit clients and attend conferences as required
The Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Marketing. A degree from an English-based university is a plus.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on sales experience, key contacts in the industry are a plus
- Mindset of a hunter, who always reaches the right decision maker
- Previous experience in the video games industry (in any role) is a major advantage.
- Good knowledge of the games market.
- Organized, analytical thinker, problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to synthetize discussions in a concise manner.
- Ability to manage expectations appropriately while coordinating and planning in a fast-paced environment where projects span across teams.
- Excellent command of the English language.
