About the role:
Amber is looking for a highly motivated and energetic person for a role in our Business Development team.
The Business Development Specialist will have the opportunity to play a key role in finding new business partners for the Development Support Services division and implementing the company’s growth strategy. 
 
The Quest:
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager, Chief Revenue Officer and Amber’s Leadership on implementing the company’s growth plans to drive the best possible business outcomes.
  • Prospect the market and attend industry events as necessary in order to identify new business leads.
  • Analyze and qualify business opportunities to generate new revenue.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners.
  • Present the value proposition of the company's products or services, negotiate agreements, collaborate with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Send reports / status updates to relevant stakeholders within the company.
  • Travel to visit clients and attend conferences as required 
 
The Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Marketing. A degree from an English-based university is a plus.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on sales experience, key contacts in the industry are a plus
  • Mindset of a hunter, who always reaches the right decision maker
  • Previous experience in the video games industry (in any role) is a major advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the games market.
  • Organized, analytical thinker, problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to synthetize discussions in a concise manner.
  • Ability to manage expectations appropriately while coordinating and planning in a fast-paced environment where projects span across teams.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
