Job Description 

MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for an Associate, Social and Influencer Marketing to join our Content team. We're looking for someone to support social and influencer-led activations, creative ideation and strategy, while assisting in excellent client service.  This role will be focused primarily on a client sponsorship in the sports space; therefore sports experience and/or interest is a plus!  

About You 

We are looking for candidates with one to three years of experience in a similar role with the following attributes: 

  • 1+ year of experience in social media, content,  and / or influencer partnerships  

  • Consider yourself an avid user of social platforms, but eager to learn more about the social media landscape 

  • Detail-oriented and organized 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple workflows and projects at once  

  • Culturally fluent – you love learning about communities, trends, and the latest up-and-coming creators; especially when it comes to sports fandom  

  • Strong written communication skills 

  • Knowledge in content creation, filming, and editing– Capcut, Canva, etc. 

  • Commitment to help grow our business – this means sometimes working non-standard hours, wearing multiple hats when necessary and responding to real-time events under tight deadlines 

  • A sports fan who keeps up with the landscape and general sports culture  

  • A champion of diversity and inclusion - you prioritize diverse perspectives and voices 

Key Responsibilities 

  • This role will report to the Manager of Social and Influencer Marketing, assisting in our end-to-end process, with a focus on social strategy, editorial planning, content development and influencer partnership 

  • Develop social content, including ideation, copywriting, scheduling, posting, and community management 

  • Manage the influencer process from research and contracting through campaign wrap-up 

  • Analyze content performance and develop actionable insights for client social reports 

  • Lead administrative tasks for accounts and contribute to day-to-day client management including agenda, recaps, note taking, etc.  

  • Proactively share social media trends and keep a pulse on the cultural conversations around sports events for our internal teams and clients  

  • This role may require travel to various locations that correspond to certain sports’ schedule, including weekends and regular in person interaction/relationship-building with key client leads 

 

The annual base salary range for this position is $39,000-$62,962. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
