SUMMARY

WONGDOODY APAC has brought together a world-class team of creative experts in strategy and innovation, multi-channel user experience, visual design, technology and delivery. We are looking for a Customer Experience Designer (CX/UX) in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. In this role, you’ll develop and improve the end-to-end customer experience in the financial sector. You will consult and support the customer experience team and their mission to become the leader in customer-centric companies in Australia. You´ll be part of the growing consulting team thinking around financial and insurance customer experiences.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Very strong CX skill sets and strategic design to build out research and roadmaps for customers and understanding of Finance and Insurance,

  • A designer with some UX capability, whilst CX will be their main strength a hybrid designer would be most beneficial in this piece,

  • Strong background in working closely with the Projects Business Lead, Tech Lead to understand customer needs and translate them into findings, 

  • Create and deliver project research as well as specific features and components which will then be turned into journey maps, personas, blueprints and concepts and low-fi designs 

 

CX / SERVICE DESIGN

  • Confident ability to plan out and execute discovery research approaches, and an excellent understanding of a variety of research methodologies,

  • Ability to translate research insights into solid design solutions and provide a strong rationale for the design decisions made,

  • Excellent experience design skills and the ability to create artefacts such as insights and recommendations papers, Customer Journey Maps, Service Blueprints, and Personas/archetypes


UX Design

  • Low and Mid-Fidelity Designs, 
  • Prototyping, 
  • End-to-End User flows, 
  • Map out error scenarios, 
  • Map Entry/Exit points for different channels/platforms, 
  • Information Architecture, 
  • Usability testing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience working at a digital agency as an Information Architect / Experience Designer / Product Designer / UX Designer
  • Experience in creating mobile, tablet and web experiences for Enterprise organisations
  • Portfolio of key projects delivered in past years, calling out your role on the project, deliverables responsible and successes achieved.
  • Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing) and a portfolio which demonstrates strong problem-solving ability in various phases of design and delivery
  • Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for mobile customer experiences
  • Experience developing detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns
  • Worked within collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver multiple, successful projects
  • Ability to travel abroad
  • A sense of humour!


BONUS ROUND

  • The ability to create functional prototypes for touch screen devices
  • Experience with designing, setting up and conducting user testing and research studies
  • Experience creating digital strategies and content strategies
  • Experience in the financial sector, and 
  • Working with remote and International stakeholders and teams.
